Co Founder Dr Badri was awarded the Government of India BIG grant (BIG -15, 2019) for the innovative design of an easy to use patch based on dissolving microneedle technology.

 

30th October 2019

An innovation proposal based on dissolving microneedle technology was selected for the National Bio Entrepreneurship Competition, regional round.

Co-Founder Badri Viswanathan has been nominated as an Adjunct Professor at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad.
National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Hyderabad is an “Institute of National Importance” having an outstanding array of facilities available for research.

Transform SciTech entered into a collaborative relationship with Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad (IITH) for the complimentary expertise of engineering, modelling and simulations relevant for technology platform development.
IITH faculty members are currently involved in a large number of research projects which require interdisciplinary approach. This institute is home to several state-of-the-art facilities for carrying out cutting edge research.

Transform SciTech becomes Research and Innovation Circle of Hyderabad (RICH) assisted start-up under the guidance of Director General Ajit Rangnekar.
Ajit Rangnekar is currently the Director General of RICH, Hyderabad. Prior to that, he was the Dean of Indian School of Business, where he espoused Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
RICH is an initiative of Government of Telangana. It is a platform that will link research institutions, academia and industry along with venture capitalists, angel investors and incubators.

Transform SciTech has successfully registered with Startup India Hub.
Startup India is a flagship initiative of the Government of India, intended to build a strong ecosystem that is conducive for the growth of startup businesses, to drive sustainable economic growth and generate large scale employment opportunities. An objective of the startup hub is to empower startups to grow through innovation and design.
Registration under Startup India leads to a certification under 9 different criteria set forth as requirements by Department of Industrial policy & Promotion, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
The Startup India Hub platform helps in collaborating and synergizing efforts between Researchers, Mentors, Investors, Incubators, Accelerators and Government Body.

Transform SciTech has entered into a MoU with a European based company for developing new products for the patients in the therapeutic areas of oncology, neurology, metabolic diseases etc. The partnership would also involve a partner based out of the US for the business and marketing   functions.  The MoU effectively is the first formal first business contract entered into after it started its operations. As a part of the MoU, there will be a portfolio of few products selected through a rigorous process and put through   prototype development process.  At appropriate GO/No GO decision crossroads, the assets will be reviewed  with an outside in view.

Transform SciTech formally kick started its operations and announced its availability for consulting and partnering services. Transform SciTech is a sole proprietor company registered in Hyderabad City of Telangana State, India.  The start-up is a team of experienced researchers qualified in Pharmaceutical Sciences. They have turned entrepreneurs and have set out to   bring new ideas as products for patients globally. Their operation areas include Pharma and Biomedical products. Initially the operations would be as a virtual company with laboratory activity being out-sourced with selected contract research partners. With time once the Pharma operations are stabilized, projects in the Biomedical areas will also kick start. The company has Dr. Badri Viswanathan N as its co-founder and CEO.  He and his team had in their past developed a process for “predictable FTL” process of product development, which beat global competition and won business. The company will now be available for product evaluation and development of generics and new product ideas.
